Meet the Staff of Summit Event Catering

With 27 years of experience in catering, culinary and restaurant management Greg defined his passion for great food and service in 1988 as operator of Summit Event Productions, Inc. He credits the success of Summit to the numerous outstanding employees most of whom have been with Summit over 8 years. When Greg is not working, he enjoys time off with his wife Linda and 3 boys Adam, Zach and Travis. His interests include skiing, fly fishing, hiking and serving at Rose Drive Friends Church in Yorba Linda.

Duane Dotts - Vice President
Duane has worked in the Food and Beverage Industry in Southern California since 1978. He has held positions in Management, Operations and Special Events with some of the areas finest upscale establishments throughout his career. He joined the partnership at Summit Event Productions in April of 1995 and has been an integral part of the growth and success we have recognized in the past decade. As you will notice from the company photo, he enjoys his time off in the outdoors, traveling in pursuit of his passion of fly fishing.

Tyler Huff - Director of Sales
In May of 2000 Tyler joined the Summit Team as a part-time server and event supervisor. In one short year Tyler moved into the Director of Catering Sales position. Tyler has worked with some of the finest restaurants and catering organizations in Orange County and we feel fortunate he has chosen to be a member of our team.

Pam Aki - Event Executive
In April 2004 Event Executive Pam Aki joined the Summit Events family. Pam came to Summit Events with over 20 years experience in restaurant and private club catering management. Pam has worked planning every detail for events corporate and private. Pam's passion is working with brides assisting them with all the details for their special day. Summit Events is blessed to have Pam as part of the team.

Gary Baume - Event Executive
Gary brings over 25 years of fine dining experience to the Summit Event sales team. His background includes some of Orange Counties finest hotels and restaurants. His comprehensive knowledge of the industry will ensure your event to be a success. In addition to his hospitality background, Gary also has over 5 years of marketing experience in the healthcare industry assisting medical groups throughout Orange and Los Angeles Counties.
Gary has three grown sons and is a lifetime resident of Costa Mesa, CA. He volunteers at his church, The Crossing, serving in many different areas. He also has coached youth football for over 20 years and enjoys all sports, both as a spectator and participant.
